The Understated Creativity of Koji Nammoku
One might describe the artistry of Koji Nammoku’s creations as a delicate balance between full expression and subtlety. Having trained in New York before returning to Tokyo to hone his craft, and now the frontman of Park Hotel Tokyo’s Society Bar, Nammoku has crafted quite a name for himself in the world of mixology, as well as being semi-finalist at the Diageo World Class 2017.
Nammoku’s creations are always interesting, though never flashy. Infusions and surprising mixes of flavour profiles are not uncommon in his signature styles – and when combined with precision and meticulous and radical Japanese mixology techniques, his work always speaks for itself. As part of a collaboration with The Masters Series, an exclusive cocktail menu by Koji Nammoku will be available for one night only in Singapore, featuring a repertoire of unique cocktails: Gastronomy Gin Basil Smash ($24) raises the bar on the classic G&T with eclectic touches of wasabi and oolong cider, and Gastronomy Negroni ($23) which will rouse your taste buds with an unapologetic adaptation of the classic negroni with curry infused flavours.

Following the success of our last mixology event, we are thrilled to invite another award-winning bartender from Japan, Koji Nammoku of Tokyo's Society Bar and semi-finalist at Diageo World Class 2017 to be guest bartender at La Terre!
Having trained in New York before deepening his knowledge of mixology in Europe, Koji channels these influences into his craft and takes particular interest in the use of culinary methods and ingredients in his drinks.
